In 2009 Enam was appointed a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) in the 2009 New Year Honours for his services to the Indian and Bangladeshi restaurant industry.
In 2011 Enam granted Freedom of the City of London. In the same year, he was awarded Best Business Personality by his local area at their Business Excellence Awards in Epsom, in recognition of the contribution he has made to the local community by hosting various charitable events, raising over £1.02 million since 1989. In 2012, Le Raj was selected to serve Indian food to thousands of Olympic officials and diplomats at the London 2012 Olympic Games.
He was named NRB (Non-Resident Bangladeshi) Person of the year 2015 by Millennium Global Magazine. And Keynote speaker representing the UK at Franchise India in the same year.
In June 2016 Enam was elected president of the British-Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce, to continue promoting trade and investment opportunities and co-operation between Britain and Bangladesh. During his term, he hosted the NRB Global Business Convention in Bangladesh with 29 nations participation. Enam also hosted the Global Challenges conference in Bangladesh with keynote speaker, David Cameron, Former Prime minister of Great Britain.
April 2018, he was awarded Awards Professional of the Year by Awards Awards. Enam continues promoting British Businesses worldwide in the media covering “Curry may be born in India but Britain globalised it”.
In June 2018, he has been recognised by the Institute of Hospitality for his outstanding contribution to the industry.

1992 – 2013. Secretary and then Chief Exec of ALMR. This organisation was designed to promote and represent the companies that had four or more pubs or bars. Very swiftly it expanded to include restaurants and eventually nightclubs and casual dining chains. Ultimately it came to represent virtually all corporate managed hospitality businesses in the UK and campaigned effectively on their behalf as well as creating an outstanding business network for its members at senior level .

A hospitality industry consultant with a wide range of clients he is still retained to provide non-exec support to UK Hospitality which is the successor organisation to ALMR having merged with the BHA now also to include major hotel chains, visitor attractions and contract catering companies.

As a Research Manager at the GSMA, Zehra leads the company’s global efforts to connect everyone to everything: through creating platforms for the showcasing of new digital technology, sharing learnings between organisations, networking with the leaders of the mobile ecosystem and awarding the pioneers who are pushing the boundaries of connectivity.
Zehra has spent her career facilitating the introduction of digital technology around the world, particularly as a channel accessing services such as transport, retail, banking and healthcare. Her current focus now is on harnessing mobile tech as a tool to achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). She is committed to enabling a dialogue across the public, private and non-profit sectors to further global development through the GSMA’s MWC Events, the M360 Conference Series and the prestigious Global Mobile Awards (GLOMO Awards).
Prior to the GSMA, she headed the content department for Payment Technology at Clarion Events. During her tenure, she oversaw the launch of several new digital and physical products, and the expansion of the portfolio into every continent and several new industry markets. Her legacy is marked here with the creation of the Annual Payments Power 10 Award, which is now the recognised standard for the influencers of the UK’s Payments and FinTech sector.
Zehra read her Masters in Global Health and Development at University College London (UCL), and a BSc in Physical Geography from King’s College London.
She is an active volunteer for both refugees and women’s rights initiatives. Her most recent field exposure was in the Calais ‘Jungle’, France and community programmes in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
She is a fellow of the Royal Geographical Society and the RSA. In her spare time, she enjoys travelling and is Captain for a local Netball team.

Julia has a BA (Hons) in Business Management and she has led the RoSPA awards and event business for over 13 years. Responsibilities include ensuring the efficient and effective use of resources, budget, line management, overseeing Ofqual compliance and investigations, overseeing the awards judging and investigations, maintaining robust procedures and policies, creating market leading events including the celebratory award ceremonies with celebrity speakers attended by over 3000 guests annually.
Julia has project managed many events including the RoSPA Centenary Royal Garden Party where 3500 guests were hosted by the society at Buckingham Palace, this involved working closely with the Lord Chamberlain’s office and police to ensure all guests passed robust security checks. She is currently working on RoSPA’s first international events.
Julia previously worked for event management agency RS Live (now Grayling) and worked with clients such as The Office of the Deputy Prime Minister, National College for Teaching and Leadership and Department of Health.
