Now in its 18th year, the Banking Technology Awards recognise excellence and innovation in the use of IT in financial services worldwide, and the people who make it happen.
The awards are well-established and reputable in the tech industry, and have been around long before all the tech stuff was cool and trendy! This year, we are having the Awards are the largest for us – in terms of the number of attendees and nominations.
We have completely revamped and re-launched our Banking Technology Awards this year, including the awards categories, logo/branding, website, social media and marketing materials.
Our efforts and the outcome have been welcomed by the global fintech community and actually have surpassed our expectations – with the entries to take part in our awards more than doubled compared to 2016 and the number of guests attending the ceremony also doubled.

Crain Communications – Plastics Industry Awards
Established in 2001, the Plastics Industry Awards are firmly established as the forum for recognising and rewarding excellence in the plastics industry. Held annually, the event rewards innovation and exceptional performance from the best companies and the best people in plastics design and manufacturing in the UK and Ireland.
With 16 Awards covering companies and individuals and all aspects of plastic product design, manufacture and recycling, the Plastic Industry Awards cover all sectors of the industry and give companies, large and small, the opportunity to enter and succeed in the competition.
Unparalleled in the plastics industry, the awards were highly acclaimed by guests, winners, industry event supporters and commercial sponsors alike. Combining business networking, entertainment and pure fun, the event has become the highlight of the plastics industry calendar. More than 600 people attended in 2017, maintaining the event’s popularity against a background of austerity for the publishing company that runs the Awards. Crain Communications is now preparing to launch a similar event in North America, where the company is headquartered.
Informa Business Intelligence – Health Insurance Awards
The Health Insurance Awards (HIAs) were launched in 1999 a year after the successful launch of the Health Insurance magazine. Year one attracted 280 guests, since then the HIAs have been going from strength to strength, regularly now attracting over 900 people gathered to celebrate excellence across the intermediary and consulting sector at the Grosvenor House Hotel on Park Lane, London.
The awards are still fresh and relevant to the industry 19 years on and are a firm fixture in the health insurance market and seen as a ‘must attend’ event.
Inside Housing/Ocean Media Group – UK Housing Awards
The UK Housing Awards is one of the biggest and prestigious awards in the housing sector giving housing associations and local authorities a chance to showcase the outstanding work they are doing in the past year. The annual award run by the leading housing magazine Inside Housing and partnered with Chartered Institute of Housing highlights each year the excellence that organisations are delivering to their customers and communities. In the 23 years that the awards have run, we have showcased thousands of projects and initiatives on everything from tackling homelessness to regenerating communities.
